1. Review of financial statements disclosures as per IFRS and local corporate laws.
2. Ensuring all the audit working papers are prepared to comply with Quality Control Review by Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan
3. Forensic audit assignment of Punjab Educational Department as Regional Team Leader regarding Procurement of IT Labs and Furniture as per PPRA Rules.
4. Involved in the forensic audit of Housing Cooperative society as the Engagement Director according to TORs specified by the relevant authorities which also includes the compliance of PPRA Rules.
5. Special auditing and advisory assignments from regulators i.e. Competition Commission, SECP, NAB and Honorable Supreme Court and High Courts.
6. Reviewing financial statement analytically and identify the financial risk.
7. Planning and scoping audit assignments effectively, allocating audit resources, defining deadlines and ensuring a comprehensive and appropriate term of reference is set for each review.

During the course of my experience at EY Lahore, I was assigned audit work on different areas of companies’ financials. My audit client portfolio included manufacturing sector, power, services and public sector. The following roles and responsibilities were managed by me:
• Engagement planning, identifying significant risk areas, participating and assisting engagement executives in initial audit meetings, helping in assigning tasks to team members.
• Establish understanding of key market forces, other key environmental factors and key stakeholder influences, understanding of management\'s goals, objectives, strategies, and critical success factors.
• Validate high-level understanding of the organization\'s processes and critical processes, assessment of internal control at the entity level and the identification of the risks of fraud.
• Identify significant classes of transactions that influence the significant accounts and the identified significant processes. Determine the preliminary strategy for relying on controls and the selected perspective for understanding and evaluating the flow of transactions.
• Extensive application of the International Standards of Auditing (ISAs) on assurance engagements and ensuring that the financial statements prepared by the client are in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and all applicable local laws and regulations
• Consider and evaluate the results of overall analytical procedures.
• Preparation of other deliverable, such as, management letter identifying control weaknesses, its implications and recommendations.
• Extensive use of Data Analytics, including EY Eagle, AAMs and Global Analytics along with complete usage of EY Canvas from planning till archiving stage.
